Kira Taige

KIRA TAIGE has been active in culture and event management for many years with passionate commitment and heart and soul. During her studies in business administration, she also specialized in the social and ecological sustainability of cultural productions. Her final thesis dealt with the topic of corporate social responsibility of major events in the music industry with a focus on ecological sustainability. She underpins this understanding and knowledge with five years of professional experience in a wide range of event management fields. This includes her work for event agency iRock, which is Sydney’s largest in its field, Feel Festival, and WHOLE – United Queer Festival. For the past year she has been working full time for Artlake Festival and has been instrumental in sharpening the festival’s content and politics as well as restructuring it. From this year on she will be the artistic and content director for the Artlake Festival.
