Dr. Caroline Mükusch

Dr. Caroline Mükusch is a Director at PwC Strategy& in the Public Sector Consulting practice. She has 13 years of professional experience, including in the areas of advanced analytics & AI for complex analyses. At PwC, she co-leads the AI & Mobile Solutions team (AIMoS) with Dr. Tobias Franke, which emerged from a technology company acquired by PwC in 2020. AIMoS is the German market leader in digital crowd management.

Thanks to its AI, PwC’s cloud-based crowd management platform makes it possible to analyze the behavior of crowds and their mobility patterns at large events in real time, to predict trends and patterns, and to manage visitors intelligently and in line with their target groups using smart communication services. The technology can be used to measure customer engagement in front of regions of interest such as merchandise stands, promotions or advertising spaces. The platform also makes it possible to efficiently instruct and coordinate emergency forces and mobile personnel.
