Der Future of Festivals Award 2022 wird am Freitagabend vergeben und ist das neben dem Innovation Award ein weiteres Highlight der Future of Festival. Bewerben können sich alle Festivals, die sich darauf konzentrieren, außergewöhnliche Projekte, Ideen, Apps und Co für die Veranstaltungsbranche zu schaffen. Ausschließlich Veranstalter*innen und Aussteller*innen haben dann das letzte Wort und stimmen live vor Ort für ihren Favoriten ab.
Der Future of Festivals Award 2022 ist somit nicht nur eine Auswahl der Gewinner*innen, sondern auch eine Aussage von Entscheidungsträger*innen der Branche über die dringend benötigten Konzepte und Ideen, die in der Zukunft weiterentwickelt werden sollen. Die Grundregel: Jede*r Besucher*in hat eine Stimme und kann abstimmen. So haben alle Bewerber*innen eine faire Chance ihr Konzept oder Projekt vom Publikum ausgezeichnet zu bekommen. The Future of Festivals Award 2022 will be presented on Friday evening and is another highlight of the Future of Festivals alongside the Innovation Award. All festivals that focus on creating extraordinary projects, ideas, apps and the like for the event industry can apply. Only organizers and exhibitors will have the final say and vote for their favorites live on site.The Future of Festivals Award 2022 is therefore not only a selection of winners, but also a statement by decision-makers in the industry about the urgently needed concepts and ideas that should be further developed in the future. The basic rule: Every visitor has one vote and can cast a ballot. This gives all applicants a fair chance to have their concept or project honored by the audience.
