I grew up in Thuringia. After school I did a commercial apprenticeship and worked in sales for a while. In my mid-twenties, I discovered the world for myself as a backpacker and developed an interest in
travel photography.

Since I enjoyed the international flair very much, I was drawn to England. There I worked as a support staff member for an international company and in my spare time I earned a little money as a wedding & event photographer, which I used to finance my professional
camera equipment.

My love for storytelling led to the production of a documentary about the “Heidewitzka Festival”. A small but introspective electronic festival beyond “Fusion and Co”. It is the familiar atmosphere of the chaotic and extraordinary crew, who built dancefloors out of buses, water barrels and containers. They prompted me to dedicate an 82 minute film to them. The result is a dynamic film with a lot of humor, drama and rich bass, which mingled with the top 10 documentaries on Amazon Prime.
