For over 20 years, Martin Juhls, a cultural manager, communicator and strategy consultant from Dortmund, has been actively shaping the cultural life of the Ruhr region. From small events to large festivals, he has been responsible for the communication of more than 2,000 events and has often been involved in their conceptual design. Among other things, he was co-organizer and communications manager of the Dortmund Juicy Beats Festival for over ten years. Since 2019, Martin Juhls has been running the consulting agency Impulsgeber Kommunikation, with which he launched the Initiative Kulturkommunikation. The first fully digitalized communications and strategy consultancy for the cultural and event sector advises and trains cultural institutions, festivals and event organizers in the areas of public relations, marketing, digital communications and crisis PR.
