Besides her love of music and festivals, Ines Fischer, a psychologist, has nothing to do with the event industry – if it weren’t for the LAUTFEUER Festival, which is organised annually in Lingen (Ems) by the Abifestival e.V. on a voluntary basis since 1981.

Since 2015, Ines has been responsible for booking and since 2020, she has been the chairwoman of the association, which has been attracting over 10,000 visitors with free admission and a diverse line-up for over 40 years. Since then, it has always been important for the festival to show attitude and stand up for important issues.

The organisers recently proved this by using green hydrogen and showed that even a voluntary team with a bit of courage can take the first steps towards climate-friendly large-scale events. They will tell the story behind it at the FoF in a masterclass.
