Alex Krüger

Alexander Krüger is a cultural visionary, musician and festival organizer. On the outside he wears wild hairstyles and bird of paradise costumes, from the inside his big heart brings people and music together. He was born in 1983 and went from the Harz Mountains to London and Shanghai while studying cultural studies and economics. Alex is an important initiator and designer in the reconquest of urban space and the cultural landscape of Berlin. Since the age of 16, he has been organizing events and festivals with great passion and heart and soul, including Feel, Rocken Am Brocken, Artlake, Akasha and Whole Festival – and at the same time also started his own music production in the form of various music projects. With the Alte Münze, he now also offers permanent framework conditions for the coming together of people from the most diverse cultural backgrounds. Over the past 5 years, Alex and a wonderful team have developed the Alte Münze – a former mint factory on 9,000 m2 in the heart of Berlin – into a vibrant cultural center with exhibition and event spaces, art and music studios, and a future lab. We are very much looking forward to his bubbling energy and good humor on the podium.
